Where to ground SMT6?

I don't see a good chassis ground in the passenger footwell by the DME. The closest one I know of is under the stereo. I assume it needs a chassis ground instead of the DME ground to prevent a ground loop. Is it ok to splice into an existing ground wire? Any advice would be appreciated.

I found a ground point by my ABS control module in the passenger sidewell, worked great. You can also use the upper mounting post for the DME/KLR bracket, you know, the one that *no one* ever uses after the first time the unit comes out... lol
By the way, if anyone needs a Vitesse Racing Piggyback/Zeitronix wiring guide, I did one up on a spreadsheet that should be pretty handy for folks and can post it. When installing mine, I popped the pins out of the piggyback connector, soldered the Zeitronix leads to the pins and put a fiberglass sleeve over it, put the pins back in the piggyback connector, and then ran just one harness look down to the DME from the glovebox. I thought it worked out slick, but its way overkill for whats actually needed to install the VRPB and the Zeitronix.
Karl and I are planning to dyno the 951 tomorrow and then tweak it using the piggyback and redyno it, so hopefully we can post some before and after graphs to show what gains can be had from the piggyback on a 951 with a Vitesse Stage II kit. Following that (not tomorrow but soon, I'm still healing up from back surgery), we will be installing and dynoing two versions of Vitesse camshafts. I can't wait for that!
Regards,
