The odds of it happening are slim, but I am curious. For those who have parted out turbo's, how much do you average for a nice car? If I were to sell it I know that I would not get what I put into it for maintenance last year and would like to get as close as possible to breaking even.
Here are details
43000 mi
non-lsd
interior damn near perfect, no cracks anywhere, just some drivers seat wear.

ugh- well its possible to get alot of money- 7k or more from parting a car- but its alot of work- ALOT of work- and there isnt always a market for everything so you have parts in your garage for years or at least months. I wouldnt part my car even if i couldnt get the $ out of it- just too many quick to part them - remember its not an investment you never get the $ back -rarely at least.

Parting a clean 43,000 mile car = bad karma. When you bought it you signed on to the preservation of a historic vehicle. There are plenty of wrecks out there for parting. Sometimes its hard to do the right thing.

+1, HOWEVER, if you have the time and the room for everything, taking a car apart is is a GREAT way to learn about it. Plus, it's nice to have a bunch of spare parts handy. I've also made a few friends along the way.
