Completely OT But I Have to Post This
Wanted to share this with you guys just because I think the shot is incredibly cool (cant wait to see video). My buddy Josh was shooting video from a helicopter earlier this year at Toronto Motorsports park while I was drifting the course (just doing some practice), he just sent me this screen shot and I felt compelled to post it. It's me driving dmoffitt's old Sepang Bronze e30. I included two other shots by Dave (one with me driving) just so you know what the car looks like

Thanks for the comments guys, the e30 isnt even around anymore (dmoffitt's girlfriend owns it ) I've had numerous e30's myself and really miss them.

I think the front diff can handle more power fine, just don't be doing any 5k rpm take offs. Keep in mind the front is only receiving ~37% of that power under normal conditions. Since the front gets limited traction on acceleration, I would guess even less then 37% goes to the front. On my '88 I did spin the splines on the front driveshaft but that's a simple fix by extending the shaft length 2" or so on the new one. I was quite impressed that the car drove home fine with only RWD without any further damage.

not sure how much i like drifting- i mean on ice/dirt thats what you do- but i would love to try it in my car anyways- it is alot of fun. And it takes alot of concentration as well. I'm just not sure its the best way around the track if you were racing.

Oh, it's definitely not the best way around, but I love it to death. I have as much fun drifting as doing grip. Probably why I just picked up my newest acquisition.
'71 with not a bit of rot on the chassis. I'm very pleased.
