Texas Mile Just ran - Eddie Bello!!!
#17
I had the chance to hang out with the EVOMS, RPM and Protomotive crew for the event...Good people and good times....Eddie is a very nice guy who knows how to build (and drive) a faaasssstt Porsche.....I have to give props to anyone who drives 2000+ miles, runs 200+ (or 190+ for the red 996tt) and then drives home... He and the guys from RPM made a statement about what they can do...

Any links or info on Bello's car and specs ?
I used to have a "turbo" magazine some years ago that had his car on the cover. There was a pic inside where his 964 did some serious wheelies on takeoff
I don't know - and I don't care- what he was accused for. All I am interested is to find out more about one of the fastest porsches in the world

my vid:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...83101643385060
Ran 185.8 into a headwind, and with a pretty soft launch. My 0-60 was only about 4.3s when it should be closer to 3.3s. Track was slightly damp and I left traction control on. Headwinds were stronger towards the end of the course - strong enough to blow over the 1 mile marker sign twice during the day despite ballast.
