Default WTB: Oil pan baffle

I broke my oil pan baffle and need a replacement in good condition asap (this week). If it is a concern I am a paid member in the process of getting my status fixed. Thank You.

I have a baffled oil pan. Where are you located? I may not be able to get it to you by this week.

Yep. just the stock plastic baffle, broke mine. Ever since I've had my 951 the dealer hasn't wanted anything to do with me.. but I might have to check them out if nothing comes up.

order up an aftermarket one from www.lindsey-racing.com and have it welded in- good design esp if you track it- but i guess you'd still need the stock baffle- did the turbo have it in 86'? I havent pulled the pan off my parts car yet...

I have a spare 86 pan with the baffle. Drop me a PM. The lindsey unit is a flaper door to stop oil from going away from the pickup tube. Good unit BTW, but not what you are asking for.

I'll have to take a picture of my LR "baffle". Flapper door is a lot better word for it. Of all the LR products I've bought I'm the least impressed with the craftmanship of this piece.. I know it's a pretty simple idea so no biggie... I just expected something a little more professional looking. The important part to know is that their "baffle" works in conjunction with the plastic stock baffle and I broke mine.

no one seemed to have it used. They get brittle and snap off at the bolts. At least that's what mine did. I called LIndsey and they said theirs didn't break and they didn't have any to spare. (Stock black plastic piece) I finally just ordered a new one from Porsche. It had to come in From Germany.
