Default Retaining water in left rear wheel well.

What is the usual entry way, bad hatch seal or plugged up hatch drain?

and is there a drain? I will run some compressed air, but would like to know if there is one similar to front under battery.

thanks
Steve

Both the rear hatch and the sunroof drain into the wheel well and have exit points where the tubing goes to the bottom of the fender well. There is also a separate little drain thing in the bottom of the fender well that can get clogged. If you remove the draining plug the fender well fills with dust.

The drain for the fuel filler hole also tends to leak. On the bottom of the filler area from inside the car theres a metal 45 degree connector that goes from the filler hole to the drain, take that apart and reassemble using lots of silicone. Then silicone all your other connections.

there's a drain plug in the bottom of each - in my experience it always clogs up...i removed both of mine, i'd prefer to let the dust in rather than the water getting stuck in there.

I found the drain hole by, running screw driver around untill it went through, car had about a gallon or more water in the wheel well.

Should I run compressed air into tubing?

How can I prevent this, it is where I keep my tools, and my tool back was full of water as well.

thanks
Steve
