$650 for a nicely painted spoiler doesn't seem all that bad. they want $1500 usually for a hatch with spoiler. If I had that lying around I'd buy it! It's the last cosmetic thing I want to do to the exterior! Good luck with the sale Albert!

Does this spoiler come with the trim?

Yes, but if you by the hatch, then you have a huge glass hatch that you aren't using (either you swapped the spoiler, or swapped the hatch) and its just taking up space. I would rather just buy the spoiler like this. And for one in excellent condition (that was just refinished like the one here), $650 is reasonable.

hahaha argue.... funny.
Darwin if you go price the trim pieces alone you will find they are about $650 just for trim. Then you have to rework your 944 hatch frame to accept the trim.
Anybody looking to do this upgrae should really know what is entailed. An entire used hatch is usually the best and cheapest route.

I'd go with firberglass trim, as Lorax mentioned, and I can refinish it myself, so I would probobly look at a sub $1000 project. As far as mounting on the 944 hatch, I know exactly what's entailed and it's not that hard (I've researched the differences in mounting points). If you don't want to mess around with it, then yes, a full hatch may be better. If you aren't intimidated by a small project, you can go about it a lot cheaper.

Until you convert one yourself and spend the countless hours getting everything fitted perfect, I take your opinion with a grain of salt. To get a near perfect result will take you a TON of time.
I purchased an entire 968 hatch deliverd to my local freight terminal for under $1k. Genuine ALL PORSCHE, No replica crap. This was from a major porsche wrecking yard accross the country. you may want to check around before assuming $650 for a bare spoiler is a good price, and that you can build it cheaper.

No need to get your panties in a bunch.
Airbop was required to put a BIN price. He put a high price (as I too would have done). I doubt he is offended, and you certainly don't need to be offended on his behalf.
Good luck with the sale Airbop. Lots of people buy these up.
EDIT: sorry Bonestock951S - read it as "Why don't you just shut up and " my bad. will now just shut up
