There is so much missing from my car compared to any stock car. I don't think the "how To" post would come close to what most people would have to go through.

Looks pretty similar? I like the idea if we really think it would make a difference. Having said that I can't see how it could hurt?

That's the copy of what I have on my car. The side guys are a tiny bit different, but not enough to make any difference. They will work the same as mine. (Had to cut the top part of the side guys to fit on our car anyway). It's only missing the center part. You can probably buy it from this place for a little extra. That is CHEAP. well, actually mine was close to $500base plus 150 for extra center diffuser divider and 180 for turbulence generators that I still have to put on. (Very cool guy stuff) So.. I guess it's only a little cheaper when you compare the base parts of this kit to what I paid for the base of mine. I can only say the quality of mine was top notch. This E-bay may be the same, I don't know. Is he selling more than one?

$850 for mine all together. A little more for the Carbon Fiber. $1000+ Very nice. Not lighter in my opinion. Only bling points there. (My friend has this one.)

Here's mine on the internet with the options attached.

And don't get the one for this series RX-7. It won't fit as well . Get the one for the second gen. - You know, the one that looks so much like the 944 that Porsche had to sue them.

An engine will make more power when running on the lean side so can’t that be attributed to the higher vacuum and maybe it has nothing to do with the splitter/diffuser?

I read it as due to the aerodynamic changes, the car cuts through the air more efficiently and therefore can run leaner than without the mods, not the other way around?

When FI cars are driving down the highway the computers may intentionally lean out the fuel to high levels in the 18:1 range just to get better fuel mileage, nothing for power. So if this splitter makes the car so much more aerodynamically effecient that the engine is able to cruise along at a stable speed without needing to make much power, you could get the high vacuum and lean fuel.

This is exactly what I was stating. We weren't looking for the differences. They were just so apparent. it was quite convincing.

Understatement of the week.

Bruce follows the "do I really NEED this part?" approach to car modification.

Sorry, just to clarify, thats FI as in fuel injection, not forced induction.

I was just trying to clarify the whole running lean thing incase people were still confused, not really directed at you 95One.
