Did you heat sync the ballests at all? We had a huge issue with these getting hot and almost melting the buckets on the race car. Adding the weight to the buckets didn't strain the motor to much??

Nice setup, my only complaint is the HID's in the fogs. Non projector housing, that's gotta refract everywhere (including peoples eyes). Granted the ones on my car might be aimed alittle high......

I'd really like to do something like that w/ my car, but I like how the lights open all the way. I'm thinkin when I eventually do something w/ HIDs I'll just lay up some carbon or glass and make a front piece molded to fit around the lights much like the stock one does...but for two lights.

That looks sweet dude. Oh and when I do this w/ my car, wanna come over and tell me what to do w/ all the electrical crap? I swear, electronics are my biggest foible...

Thanks for all the king words.

Douge, No heat sink needed, the OE ballasts cool just fine on the bottom of the housing. The wight is not an issue for the lift motor epically since by shortening the throw I increased the leverage to open them.

MPD, The fogs do scatter light really well but they did with the regular bulbs just as much.

If we could do a GTG with such short notice that would be cool. We can cook up some food too. Let me know what you guys think.

And for the DFW guys, I got a real full time job with Phelps Dodge in Arizona. I will be a Mine Technology Engineer working on the really big haul trucks, 240+ ton.

I will be in Tucson. My main job site is going to be the BIG mine near Green Valley (20 miles south of Tucson).

Sean,

Good to see that your new engineering degree is being used for something useful. HAHA

Looking forward to having you back in Tucson to help me with my cars. Weekends were made for Corona.
