I havent seen a 968RS Turbo on the track here

But cars that come to the track here have to tape up any bonnet vents that point to the direction of the windscreen. Seems silly from an engine cooling perspective, but the safety reason overrules. The 968 uses a NACA duct doesnt it? Thats not screen facing...

It has 2 naca's on the side but a large centrally placed one that is for venting heat out from under the hood, not cool air in which the naca's are doing. I don't think that would be wise to tape up a heat outlet on a car designed to run with it. I get the oil issue, but not at the expense of overheating. I guess you could run the underbonnet direct air ducting like this race 924 and that way you couldn't get oil in there?

Yes but your problems started when you bought that roller and swapped it's straight panels for yours. Unfortunately it was a 1967 Skoda. We didn't want to seem mean so we have only offered words of encouragement.

To be honest, that car looks a blast and I bet it's pretty damn quick on the track too! Nice engine work!

Just thought I'd bump this thread after reading through it again. Some good stuff and I wonder if anyone has progressed with any of this? I was also reading up on rear wings and a guy on another forum came up with this. Check out his revised paper on post #12
