Default Installed hard pipes and greddy BOV, lost a little boost

I took the cat out of my exhaust, and installed my SFR hard pipes with a greddy BOV. I took the car out for a test run, and the car boosted to 14 PSI instead of the 15 it was set at. Is the BOV leaking a little bit of under boost, or is that a normal function of reducing the back pressure in the exhaust?

No way Ryan, you don't get off that easy! You got another 951? Ok, now I am lost. First you were living in the Amazon jungle or something, then came back to civilization and sold your parts, and now you got another 951? You have some explaing to do son!

Double check the hard pipe connections. When I drive my car really hard, ie autocrossing, the boost pressure and/or engine movement pushes the turbo side of the intercooler to turbo hard pipe out enough that the hard pipe rubs on the hood. I have to loosen it and push it back in.

hmmm tricky if you changed your tailpipe i would blame that as the waste gate would vent easier . 1 psi is not much and could just be the difference in the way the sample is taken via banjow bolt . In fact that is it you would have had say 17 psi at the banjow bolt befor and now you have 16 because of the bigger hard pipe .
this realy is a good agument to go for hard pipes .

Adjust the preload on the spring by adjusting the set screw inward. The pipes and blow-off should not cause a loss in boost if installed properly.

When I adjust it tighter than it is, im hearing compressor surge. I think it must be the loss of backpressure from the cat or something, because it boosts to 15psi no problem now that i turned the boost **** up a bit.
