Because unless you have the Vitesse MAF chips 83 lb injectors you will sacrifice idle quality.

Low duty cycle requires less drive from the DME - which equals less heat.

Marren Fuel

You want the 0555 injector. You can also have them balanced like from LR.

+1 on marren fuel injectors;
www.injector.com

these are, in fact, the very same injectors for $59 that lindsey, vitesse, and others sell for $80+.

if you get the low-impedence siemens 55lb, you don't need resistors as they are stock fit plug and play.

The Siemens 55lb injectors, part #3102, are only 2.35-2.4ohm resistance whereas the stock ones are 5.5ohm. Not much difference but, it's worth noting that they aren't the exact same resistance so I'd still run resistors just to be safe.

What you need for 800whp just if you needed to know. Personally I wanted to do twin 500cc setup per runner but no room with nitrous.

I see the injectors from racetronix says there are flow each and everyone but when you order them do they come with the flow charts to prove it like they do from LR???

2.8 ohm. 3105's all four dead even at 2.8

Bosch and Siemens are under the same company umbrella so quite likely they're made by the same guy in the same factory type of thing.

I run 72lb Siemens which I purchased from Racetronix . I also run 2 resistors on a small aluminum plate to act as a heat sink. One thing to note when making your plate is to ensure its small enough that you can pull it through the "snorkel hole" through the firewall with the main engine harness otherwise you'll be un-sodering the connections if you need to pull the engine for any reason.

Pulling the engine requires removal of the harness? What's stopping me from just disconnecting the injectors and setting the harness off to the side?

A shortcut for removing the engine is unplugging the harness from the DME/KLR and feeding it through the hole, so you dont have to unplug anything on the engine sit while its in the car.

after trying it both ways, i don't think it's a 'shortcut'. i found it easier to leave the harness than try to disconnect all the related wires in the footwell, snake it through the firewall, snake it back, reconnect, clean up, etc.

disconnecting wiring on the motor side was much faster and easier.

Never pulled a 951/944 engine, but on engine's that I have pulled, I've always left the wiring harness in the car and disconnected everything from the engine. Never had an issue with it.
