Any one ever experiment with that?

I came across this sit and it is very interesting. I have seen a few drag cars with similar systems but never seen those on auto X cars.

I know some people that do, but not on a 951. There is a guy near me who used to run a subaru legacy with a sti turbo no ic and 21psi on just methanol injection.

They are claiming some crazy #’s. I would like to try it out; but the fact that they don’t have a gauge or an indicator to let you know you are running low, is a big risk if you are running high boost.

Chemical intercooling is just a fancy way of saying water injection (all Wi should have some methanol with it).
Lots of discussions, here, on water injection, and it's got nothing to do with what your car is being used for.

It was actually a GT35R and 38psi on the stock legacy motor 7.8:1 CR when it let go. Now it's an '06 STI engine, intercooled, with meth, running 24psi on the "break in" setup. Wait till it's cammed and running real boost

I'm going to be adding Meth injection soon to my car. I will need a new boost gauge as my current one only goes to 30psi. Without methanol I'm already very close to that. My goal is at least 45psi.

What I’m asking is. Dos it last long enough for you to get on the auto X track and do your run? or is just for 1/4 mile runs? How do you gauge it? And what happens if you run out at 35psi of boost?

I'm running water/methanol injection on my daily driven 951. I'm very satisfied with it, it's like running race fuel all the time. I'm running 25 psi with no detonation.

CARNEXUS;
if you have a 2 or 3 liter container, that'll last you a long time; probably like 6 to 8 minutes of full throttle.

What size container are you running? What size injectors? And are they taped in to metal or plastic connector hoses?

Would it be safer to have a small fuel cell in the back?

Quick Reply: Chemical intercooling is it safe for auto X, or just drag?
