kas i have a 87 with manual rack that I converted from power steering. What do you want to know. You can only use the rack with the 944 prt number and you will need the longer shaft that they sell at paragon for like a 100 buck i SUGGEST u get it. and u need the late model manual steering tierods. the tierods you can get from porsche (thats what i did) or you can get it from paragon. WHat else do u want to know?

Thanks, but I've got it covered now. Like I said, I was just trying to figure out if a early 924 rack would work and it won't.
