I bought a billet rail core, then no damper.. don't really see the need. also injection is sequential so takes some pulse out.

I had a damp delete on a completely stock car, couldn't notice a difference. Would be different on a modified (larger injectors) car.

I think it speaks volumes that most production cars from the last 2 decades don't use fuel dampeners. It'll work just fine.

FPD/jumper delete - huh? Are we saying we can route the larger fuel line directly to the rail and not be always worried about the expensive little jumper fuel line? bruce

On one of the cars I owned, it had Pauer's fuel line kit that was a dampner delete, needed a different line to thread into the fuel rail.

I'd actually also like to take out mine, but.....from Whipple Superchargers I got thjis......Most fuel injection manufacturers under-estimate the importance of correct application of a dynamic pressure damper in the fuel system. A damper is critical to the proper function of any EFI setup. Rapid cycling of the fuel injectors and fuel system components in a running engine combine with the non-compressibility of the fuel; and create high frequency pressure waves in the rail. These pressure waves can cause substantial variation in the fuel delivered by the injectors; causing numerous running problems that are difficult to trace, in addition to increasing stress on the fuel pressure regulator.
This Micra pressure damper is extremely compact for flexible packaging and dyno testing has proven these dampers to be 5 times more effective at reducing rail dynamics as competitive dampers. Two dampers are available to match system pressure. 3 Bar for use in 36-50 psi systems. We recommend using one in each rail on high flow V8 applications. Can also be mounted in the high pressure side of a fuel block.
Plug-in design. Comes complete with high performance O-ring. Adapter fitting needed for fitment, sold separately.
Suggested Retail Price…… $49.95ea. (qty/bulk pricing available)

Yeah, I don't like how thin the jumper hose is, seems like a major flow restrictor to me.

sure it may be a sales pitch for their product - but there was one fitted by Porsche orginally...so

I'd love to take mine out cos its a turbo conversion and the location of the current one is a pain and will mean lots of new bracket fabrication.

Is this really needed.....
