You should replace that line with the slave cylinder anyway, so just disconnect it at the other end in the engine bay, and drop the whole thing out.

and you have to do is disconnect the line on the other end and thats it simple as that and just order the line from paragon or somthing like that.

"Simple" except for that little clip located just below the rubber section of the hose, which is nearly impossible to get off/put back on due to it's location. That little b@$t@rd consumed nearly two hours of my life.

But yeah, other than that it's pretty straight forward.

I'd replace the clutch hose w/ the slave cylinder. I just replaced the clutch hose on my dad's car earlier this week... (on my back in the paddock at Watkins Glen but that is another story). Overall not too difficult of a job... (bleeding the slave cylinder can be a challenge though). Since you have the starter off already the job is almost done. Up top find the top of the clutch hose where it comes off the master cylinder. 19mm on the hose and 12mm on the hard line. where the hose itself transitions to a hard line is a clamp held together w/ a 8mm nut and bolt (not fun). Once these are out and the top side is disconnected then pull the hose and slave out from below. Replace the parts and reverse your steps.

I chose to leave it off to salvage the last session of the day.

LOL, thanks. I was at an event back in June and those guys were in the garage next to me. They turned me on to their site, so I checked it out and figured I'd post a vid. That's an entertaining site, a time-killer for sure! Are you from around here?
