Well I'd like to thank everyone who came today, despite the confusion in the beginning and the blistering heat, I think it turned out to be a great event.

I'm really glad that everyone enjoyed the cruise, instead of just meeting up and talking. It was a nice change of pace, but man was it HOT!

It will be a couple days until i have ALL of my pictures uploaded but for those who missed the meet, here is a little teaser pic!

I ended up taking the entire dashboard, center section and rear interior out of the VW: -That's apparently how far you have to go to replace the A/C controls in a MkIV...

...and then the battery died, and I had to replace it...

It's all cool now... -literally- but if course I missed the meetup. -sorry!

-How was Yalaha Bakery? -Did ya bring anything back for me??? (apart from just crumbs, I mean!!!)

Next FL Citrus PCA autocross is this Sunday, Sept 21!
It is the usual $25 (includes lunch). Pre-registration is available at www.clubregistration.net.

I heard a rumor about the course map and it sounds like it will be really fun and a good course for all models.

Lately ive doubted the auto-x'ing capabilities of my car because of the welded diff and lack of fresh tires, so I'm going to pass them up for a while.

HOWEVER! I plan on selling my daily driver bimmer and possibly getting another 944 as a daily. SO that will most likely be a potential autocross fun car. But thats IF this happens.


For 2009 I actually plan on competing in the 2009 (first ever) Florida Drift Series, which should give me some sponsor oppertunities and possibly some air time on Octane TV. I am going to have to start punching babies or something to get this supercharger slapped on by 09 though. :O Otherwise I won't be competitive at all with the other guys.
