Default Tial...drill out dump port flange threads???

I'm pretty sure that I need to drill out the threads on the dump port flange so it can be torqued to the adapter plate. Just figured I'd verify before I put it in the drill press... Thx!

Application is a tial 38mm (older myswiss kit...but I don't really think kit wise it matters, flange is threaded regardless)

Yep you have to drill out the flange. You'll be amazed how much better the car will feel with the TiAL.

Or you can use a sawzal depending on how much room you have to work with under the car

Yep, just start cutting right below the doors and you'll have a two piece 951 in no time.

Wait a minute why the hell would you use a sawzal? He's trying to mount his Tial!!

And yes drill them out.

I used it to cut through the studs on the flange on the stock WG. I forget why, but there was a reason. Worked well, didn't cut anything that I didn't want to, maybe I was lucky

Also the inlet pipe was no longer welded to that flange, so I had to have it re-welded at a shop
