Default Catch can question

Spent a while searching, but it appears David Floyd's thread on the Moroso catch can mod is gone! I find a ton of references and even a link, but the link went nowhere. Anybody have the pic?

I went with the saiko-thing-is-hard-to-spell, the one working as a oil distill. (should be here thursday)

I remember what you are talking about though.

Where did that go? i can not find it either...

Do you already have the Lindsey can and want to run it so that you still have crank case vacum?

Anders

This is how I put my Saikou Michi in. This is the correct way as opposed to the way I first hooked it up.

haha yes, I noticed you building pressure nicely with last install way.

I might copy it for a start, but I will have a duct going down there (also removing hood lock) so can't place it there permanently. sure there is room somewhere.

run one hose the air oil separator the other to the inlet pipe from your maf to turbo so it has vacuum all the time. remainder of can must be sealed rather than vented.

David:

Is the Moroso top a direct fit for the Lindsey can? All I need to augment the standard install is the Moroso and a line running to the intake pipe (I no longer have the J-boot)?

Yes, direct fit.

A rubber grommet comes with the Moroso, cut the bottom out, slip that into the top of the Lindsey can, slide the Moroso on top then run your vent line back to the intake.

You're welcome, but David gets all the credit. I remember seeing his and asked him about it. He steered me in the right direction.
