Maybe two years ago when I pulled my 951 to front of our door for unloading some stuff. There was this little kid with his father. Kids eyes got really big and shouted 'daaad, it's Knight Rider!'

Have to admit, I had leather jacket and the car is graphite metallic.

My favorite thing to do (with my first 944 NA) was to answer the popular question "how much did THAT cost" with the truthful answer - "oh, about 35". Most folks thought I was thinking thousand....when it was hundred!

I club raced a white 944 S2 about 4 years ago and had it on an open trailer at the time. I stopped by an O'Riellys autoparts store on my way out of town to a race. A guy in the parking lot looked it over for a minute, asked me if it was an RX7. I looked at it and said I guess the Porsche sticker on the rocker panels gave it away.
