I think you guys are forgetting about the direct injection technology that allows high compression ratios (in the 335's case, 11 to 1), and higher boost pressures without worrying about detonation.
The 951 is a great car. I wouldnt compare the 951 to the Bmw. I would compare the 951, which is a SPORTS car, to cars like the RX7, corvette, nissan Z...etc. The bmw is a sports SEDAN, like audi, VW.....
As soon as the BMW aftermarket catches up and finds a way to get rid of those stupid manifolds and baby turbos.... the horsepower game is all over
