haha this is a funny thread!

Worn out shocks and Torsion Bars = Koni struts, 300lb springs, 28mm torsion bars
DME acting up = Megasquirt II standalone
Old FPR = 3bar FPR
Ignition Acting up = Ford EDIS Ignition
Ugly old wastegate = Tial 41mm
Tweaked Exhaust = Lindsey 4"
Sticky Injectors = RC engineering 650lb (in the near future)

I had a vacuum leak...that's how I got started. Be careful man!!!!!

Sounds like we are all in the same boat. The only stock replacement parts for me are gaskets, water pump and rollers, and the fuel rail jumper line.

I think the only thing that says it's an 86' is the VIN.

lol. yep. These cars, owned properly, require that work be done right the first time and that better parts are always a better investment than say...oh...fixing an oil leak with some brand of oil for old engines...which gives you 5 extra minutes before the real problem blows your engine. lol
