Btw, does anyone know if the rear glass is needed or if I can just run with the frame there (don't want to lose the wing for aerodynamic reasons). It would make it a lot easier for me when getting stuff in and out of the luggage compartment?
Well all jokes aside I enjoy the humor on Rennlist. But I also don't mind threads such as the one you are mocking. I don't think there is anything wrong with the thread he started. Your time is better spent mocking the people that repost instead of searching or the non-members selling things. Just my opinion though.

I chose to completely remove the roof, support pillars, and all glass for that Le Mans effect. Aerodynamics are excellent as I removed the passenger seat. To farther improve aerodynamic efficency. I'm thinking of removing hte drivers seat as well and just sitting on the floor....

In the original poster's defense (in the other thread), he was asking if there was any data available. Those threads you linked contain all the same speculation that he received in his current thread, hence my post.

There's nothing wrong in seeking data, IMO. All too often guesses are presented as facts around here. It makes it very difficult to determine what is and isn't true, regardless of how mundane the topic may be. Just sayin'...

Thanks for the reminder to why I keep my post count as low as I do.

I could never run without my hood. That's where I store extra oil cans so I can top off every little bit due to the leaks and oil burning. By keeping them under the hood, they are handy and are prewarmed so you don't have to wait for your oil to get up to temp again. Also you are already up to temp in case of a surprise emissions check since everyone knows getting up to temp quickly is all the belly pans are for anyway.

Default Rear Hatch Delete

I've run my Camaro without the rear hatch. Got out of the hole a little better, same top end on the straights at RA (135), a little squirly under braking from reduced downforce and 100lb off the back. I could get really good aft facing video with it.

Well I kept the A pillars and roof but hacked off a good bit of the front end, the intake draws straight fresh air, no BS filters in MY way...but added huge tires at the rear...flares and body work are for wusses anyways....

At least it WAS a technical question, unlike many stupid threads that really deserve criticism. You gave him a real answer in his thread, then start your own to mock him? I don't get it.

Just spicing life with some sarcasm.
