Default constant heat

vacuum lines are connected, new heater check valve, metal clip and rod still attached and still always getting heat.

I wanted to pull the solenoid per Clark's garage but is the only way to get it out to cut the wires? I couldnt figure out how to pull that connection.

Is there anything else that could be causing this? I cleaned the climate control connections already.

Yep, both are fine :/

The new heater check valve is not getting a vacuum signal for some reason.

Besides any help on how to disconnect that vacuum solenoid, if cutting the wires is not the only way, where would I get a new one if it tests bad?

Ok, I figured out how to disconnet the solenoids. I connected them to 12vdc and they both clicked consistently. Also Pelican has them.

Vacuum lines are good, I fixed a small hole in one under the blower cover, no change in the constant heat situation. It would appear that it's my climate control unit or the temperature sensor behind the glovebox.

How can I test to determine which one? They're both not cheap so I dont want to replace and then have to replace again. The clear plastic mounting plate of my climate control unit is badly cracked, so if it's the culprit that works out well.

Ok, got the temperature sensor assembly out. Put 12vdc to the fan it worked fine. There wasnt much dust in the tube to block anything.

Anyone know how to test the sensor?
