Default New Interior/ Sub box/ roll bar PICSSSS

Hey guys, despite my troubles with my car yesterday I cant keep myself from posting up pics of my project for the last 6-7 months. I started by purchasing a custom made 4 point roll bar. Then decided I am going to do a rear seat delete and replace it with a custom sub box. I ended up making a custom fiberglass enclosure molding it to the rear seat. From there I decided to get new black carpeting(old was tan). After a few months I just reupholstered my seats in black vinyl(were tan). New floor mats were in order, along with new arm rest and shift boot/ Sparco ****. I also installed 6.5 speakers into the rear 4x6 area. The sub is a 12" audiobahn with a 800 rms amp powering it. All in all it looks REALLY good. I lost my pictures of the whole fiberglassing experiment so none of those are available. But here is the almost finished project:

Let me know what you think. The interior used to be all Tan, I like this better

no actually. not a problem at all. The three adjustment screws held it on perfectly. I did grind down the shift lever just a little bit though.

Looks sweet. Did you have the seats recovered or are they new?

Looks good! Just a few questions.
Why Vinyl instead of Leather faced?
And what is that leather/vinyl condom/prophylatic round your steering wheel????? Looks like driving gloves may be owned!
Apart from that looks really good!

It looks good. I'm just curious how the black vinyl is going to be in the heat and humidity. I've got black leather in Phoenix and I'll be redoing my seats in cloth fairly soon.

Well to answer your question, vinyl saved me about $400... That was pretty much the bottom line for why I did not go with leather. The vinyl is as little "stickier" than the factory leather which can actually be thought of as a good thing. The seats even though their not sports, hold me in MUCH better than with the leather. As for them holding up, I don't foresee any problems in the near future. The cover around my steering wheel is there because the leather wrap on top was coming apart a little bit... Its just a cover... And NO I do not own any leather driving gloves. But I wouldn't turn them down If they were given to me
