Sorry for the confusion, I'm not saying you can hook it up to 'any' MAF, I'm saying Scivision has other MAF units they will make available with the kits. That info specification is still pending, so I can't quote exactly what MAF sensor that pertains to or how it may effect pricing.

ok we may be getting a little ahead of things but would it be as easy as just ordering a new sensor or would the whole MAF need to be replaced? For now it looks like I will need to put in my Stage IV if I want to acheieve 400rwhp. Right?

You may get more than 400hp with the 640kg MAF - as with the AFM. But it then starts becoming restrictive as the whole intake system with airfilter box and j-bot. Therefore I think this MAF is a stealthy replacement for the stock AFM and intake configuration up to 380 hp.

It was designed for that, being plug&play and safety and for several 10.000 miles on the German autobahn.

With the concept of the MAF (reading the MAF mass - converting this with air density to air volume - converting the air volume to the AFM calibration) the system could support any MAF with known charateristic - with reprogramming of the ECU.

We do have some cars running with 1000kg MAFs - mainly as racecars. The 1000kg MAF does not fit into the stock intake line and does need some custom modifications.

So a 1000kg MAF system is available - but it does not fit to the standard airfilter or j-bot.

Thanks for the reply Tom, this is what people have been looking for. And as I have already told a few that have asked, you are not required to use the stock airbox, you can route your intake plumbing any way you see fit. (within reason!)

Russel,

What will the normal (non promotional) price for this MAF be after the first 15 units sell? I've always wanted to get one of these but ya caught me in the middle of a few multi-$1000 repair bills

MAF alone, $775.00 USD, with 951MAX DME III chips, $999.00 USD.

So 25 bucks difference on the MAF, or 50 bucks difference on MAF w/chips. Nothing that will break the bank.

Russell

Russell, is this promotion and will the normal price still honor the "trade-in your old chips" savings? I think it was $150 off of your chips if you trade in an older set.

Hey Danny,

I've never had a trade in path
of any kind. Lindsey Racing has trade-in and upgrade paths, I do not.

Do you feel you are familiar enough with Pauer's Garrett DBB turbo to provide a chip/MAF set at this time? I'm leery of waiting for a good MAP setup to develop. PM or give me a call if you need more info.

Thanks

Yes, not a problem at all.
