Talking Just got my MAX951 Chips!

Amazing what a different car it is with a hogged out cat, 3.0 FPR, LBE and a set of Russell's chips. If you are running around on stock chips, you are missing out!! Best $300 I have ever spent on a car!

BKiller, are you running a stock wastegate? I still have yet to install my MAX chips because I wanted to do the wastegate as well.

Stock wastegate, no shims.. I figure I gotta leave something for next time!

The sad part is, I havent even turned up the boost yet because my boost gauge doesn't arrive until later in the week, and I don't trust the stock gauge. Should be fun at 16-18psi...

Glad to hear you're enjoying your car more!

Yeah, you definitely want to know your actual boost pressure before you go changing anything.

Let me know how it goes...

Regards,
Russell

I just ordered the same package from Lindsey Racing. I'm not planning on installing the shims right away. I'm looking forward to its arrival.

Wow, first post!

Only fitting I should be the first to welcome you. But your name looks too much like mine, there will be trolls here that will acuse you of being me. Which would be cool for you, because then all your stuff would free!

Heh, anyway, welcome to the addiction, and welcome to Rennlist, it's a wonderful group of people

Regards,
Russell

I haven't tested mine yet, I'm waiting until my wastegate gets here and my injectors are cleaned. I want to drive it soooooo bad. So you're supposed to run a 3bar FPR which I have should I have indicated that when I ordered?

My cat's been gone, I got my 3 Bar regulator on the way, and am going to order the chips next week.

Hi Russell,

I just tested out my newly-installed Instant RWHP Kit. What a difference!! I'm very pleased with my 951's increased performance. I just got off the phone with Lindsey Racing and am now posting to thank you as well.

Russell:

Did you say you were going to be on vacation this week? I need to get with you sometime in the near future to order the maxhp kit.
