This has been discussed recently. I don't know the answer, but if you search for it I'm sure you'll find something! I want to do SOME kind of rear seat delete myself, and I'm considering making my own piece.

The guy with the silver/grey 951 at the meet in Mahwah. I think he posts as JM944turbo or something.

By the way, I was the guy with the red 944 turbo ( not the turbo S )

I dont think he was selling it.

I am actually in the process of working on a rear seat delete that I plan on selling to fellow rennlisters if it comes out as planned. I will post it up as soon as I am done.

"Future" here on rennlist makes a fantastic rear seat delete but since he is located in europe the cost to get it over here makes it pretty expensive.

I think that you can just buy the factory 968 rear carpet piece and install it on the 944's.. its a nice quality piece. Probably best to buy from Sunset Porsche.

If anyone is doing a seat delete and has a rear seat in white or light gray, please let me know. I want to add rear seats on my Riviera Blue cabriolet.

Its several part numbers- for the shelf, carpet, etc.
2 years ago my deal could get it (that was when I checked). Just one of the parts was over $800. I passed.

Well, it seems like it is really hard/expensive to come by.

If you look in the DIY section, under 944s, someone did a real clean rear seat delete. You should look into it. Its not exactly what you are looking for, but at least its cheap.
