Default Spacers? I know I should know...but search didn't even help me...

Hey,

I know I should know this, but I don't and search turned up nothing. I have the Mille Miglia's on my car now but have some actual 993 Cup IIs going on here soon. I read something about the Miglias having built in spacers? So do I need spacers for the OEM stuff? I have no clue and don't want to get any snags when putting them on my car! TIA!

Yes, but I'd like to bypass the trial and error period. So many people are using them I can't believe someone hasn't responded yet.

Hmm, well the offset for your car is +52mm front and +47mm rear... so... if you know the offsets you should be able to figure it out. Its much easier for you to find the proper offset as opposed to us 1986 951 owners :-(

Hmmm...you seem a little more smart than I am, could you explain how I go about figuring that out? Thanks for the offset info!

I believe your cup II rims should have the proper offset... +52 front +47 rear... are they 17" rims?

They are 17s, and all four are ET55.

They should fit right on... but dont quote me. Sounds like the rear might be pushed out further, look at what you have now and try to figure there being 8 MM more towards the outside of the car, you might have to roll your fenders a little or maybe nothing at all. Just dont quote me on this!!!! You should be alright.

If the wheels are as in your pic/sig, then they are 7" fronts with ET55 + rears are 9" ET55,YES they are 993 cup 2 wheels...

The Porsche Millie Miglie "copies" will be front 7.5" et 52, rear 9" et47.
These should fit ok...BUT they are about as wide as youd want to go on a road car...
ET being the offset...ie the track width of the wheel..The larger the number then the more the face of the wheel will be under the arch[narrower track].. The lower the et number, the further out the face will be....[wider track].
I hope youve understood that...

Im presuming youve got 205 front tyres + 255 rears...???

I know they are Cup II wheels, on the miglias that are on my car right now I have 235 fronts and 255 rears. Yes they are 7'' fronts and 9'' rears, All I'm looking for is will I need spacers on either the fronts or the rears?

The Porsche GENUINE wheels will be et 55 s all round. Therefore they WILL fit straight on..
You only need spacers IF you want to keep the same track width, as the copies...
As the Genuine Porsche wheels will give you a narower track..
