Fuzions have a good large following here for value priced tires. They aren't some cheap Thai or Malaysian tire. Bridgestone has made them from the start and always in Japan. A plain looking sidewall? What do you want 'flames' or Kanji Script? You have posted over 1/3 of the comments here and commented on so many tires...so which one is it Mr. Tire? The Hankooks are made in Korea and are just a step better than Kumho IMO. I was able to get 275-40 17 and 255/40 17 installed, balanced, lifetime road hazard, and all charges for $414.

By plain I mean dull and tasteless, kinda like American cars, how's that analogy?
A nice sidewall helps and always looks good, a little creativity and design in the letters doesn't hurt, does it? The Fuzion looks like a biclycle tire from the side, boring and dull, what good is it to have a nice looking treadwear pattern if the profile looks crappy? Mr.Tire says that for performance in summer, the Hankook Ventus RS2 Z212 is the best tire for the money, Kumho Ecsta SPT is also a great tire, it beat the Fuzion in Tirerack tests, if price is no object, then the Bridgestone S03 Pole Position or the Michelin Pilot are terrific choices, anything else?

Couldn't find much on the Hankooks and Fuzions compared together other than this survey and the Fuzion came out ahead. The Hankooks cost considerably more and are available in less large sizes. Remember we are talking about inexpensive tires here so maybe some of the reviewers aren't that savvy either. I'm not arguing with you but try to post factual info on the Fuzions if you haven't used them before personally. And no, I've never run Hankooks before but I assume they must have 'exciting' sidewalls.

meh... They're a little better in the sidewall dept. Nothing spectacular though. A little more flashy.

Ewwww!! Take those hideous pictures off, by the way, 1010tires don't do roadtests, they go by what users rate them as, if you want to get real ratings from true professionals, get them from the best...Tirerack/ Car and Driver
do some reading...

Actually, nowhere does it state or mention anything that has to do with factors or even relevance for that matter, I just brought it up so others can see a good point and one who discrimintates knows that looks and performance go hand in hand, that's why we adore our cars...
