Default European Car project 951 for sale.. $30k!!

haha, this is interesting: http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...1&cardist=1870

Car was featured in several European car articles, and they did some pretty neat upgrades on it.. 30k might be a bit much though.

Where's the listing of all the mods? For $30k you'd be listing everything wouldn't you, or did I miss it?

I guess that is how the editors make money. Get a car all fixed up for free by the vendors then sell it to make a profit?

you would think, that if he was really trying to push the magazine issue, he would give a link to the webpage, so customers could read up on the build of the car.

Everytime a car sells for more than the current market value, we all win. Ofcourse that will not happen if the owners of these cars come onto a 951 specific board and laugh at the asking price. That's just stupid as **** IMHO.

I guess all the parts to the project didn't make it to their website, which is too bad. Hope he gets what he's asking.

I might be mistaken here, for I have a few of the mags where they did the mods on a 951, but, I "believe" that is the same car that Tim did a lot of work on? I think it is. If so, this is the car with Tim's Stage 2 Headers, or is it another car? Regardless, $30K for that? Sorry charlie, not with "just" those mods, not even close.

Nice car. They have quite a few nice parts from what I've read in the magazines (I have all the issues with it because I was collecting them for ideas when I got my car). I think all the articles are on their website, at least they were last time I was there.

Unless people start getting asking price for these cars, yours also won't end up being worth more than 30, regardless of the zillions you are throwing at it.

I can't even imagine what your car is worth.

The sad fact is a totally stock 944 turbo is worth X dollars, one with 40K sent on it is worth X + 5-10k dollars.
