I was looking at the video and it seems that is not a 944 turbo, look at the front bumper and the rear lower diffuser is missing, could it be a 944 S or a lt1 conversion 944? Does it look like a 951 to you?

Definitely turbo with that big puff of black smoke on the shift. Could be a 220hp against a 320 awd albeit heavier Mitsu so no huge surprises there. Get to the twisties and see what happens.

Although pigish in nature, a 3S turbo AWD can be quite potent. A stock 3S can run the 1/4mi in the low 14s and high 13s. If I am not mistaken, that is faster than a stock 951 non-s.

I have a feeling this video has been posted on rennlist before, and the driver was a rennlister. I seem to recall discussing the black puff of smoke on shifts which was caused by venting the BOV to atmosphere...
