I will be there even if tool is a no show, I am looking forward to it. For the purposes of what tool and I are doing I think the drag strip is the best.

I am going to do 100-200kph at some point, but it will just be data logged from my tec and not be very official. I an not realy interested in rigging up a camera. I also don't feel I have to much to prove because my HP is not that high, but I will do it so people will have an idea of what to expect from a similar set up.

Ok, just let us know the 100-200 figures so we can have something to compare with.

Once they get the 60fts down I wouldn't be surprised to see them get deep into the 11s. I'm really curious what kind of 60fts they can run with this kind of power!

Mark my words. Neither car will trap at 130 or be in the low 11's.
Be safe guys. Post up the vids.
This should be fun!

This will be very interesting for sure... If not 125+ mph trap speeds I will be a very angry person... 130 mph should be possible for the tools numbers.

It is possible that you are correct, the 951 is a poor performer at 1/4 mile figures, a better scale for comparisson would be acceleration from 40-120mph.

Please Tool understand that it's more of a concern than really the pride of letting us down. Don't feel pressure of even threaten by us in any way. In case you fail to appear just watch yourself please.

Pressure? What's pressure other than the deciding factor in the ownership of any 951? We live or die by pressure no matter what our ultimate goals are. I'll go out on a limb here and say the winner will be decided by 'pressure' one way or another. Getting the pressure right for just 13 seconds or less will be the difference and hopefully all the parts make it to the end of 1320' with the car. I would still like to see a 55mph rolling start to the 1/2 mile only because I know these cars are hard to launch but wicked to beat on an open road.

Now from the roll, we'll give you a few car lenghts of advantage in your GT3 so you won't end up too behind.

From a roll a nicely modded modded Turbo like the ones we are taling about would walk my GT3 pretty easily. It has a couple hundred more hp and is a couple hundred pounds lighter.

What are modded 944 Turbos running in the 1/4 anyways?

well I know Rage and edman were in the mid 12s but not many 951 owners drag their car for fear of the "toasted tranny"

More accurately "toasted clutch".....I haven't heard anyone say they were specifically worried about the tranny. Clutches on the other hand......
