2. He is getting stage fright and that "Tool" is not quite so special as Mrs ST keeps telling her friends!!!

Can't wait to hear the commentry on this one!!

Quiet down, nerds - I'm going to the truck show at Macungie today.

Nothing could stop me from going to Lebanon.

To all of the non Brit/Aus Kiwis

Its time you guys got into rugby, its like grid iron for real men and without the timeouts and team changes. 30 men on a field at war for the game Then go for a beer afterwards.

You were just lucky it rained otherwise it would have been a different result...

PS I saw that Pinks show last night on cable. Hell it's full on. I thought a fight was going to break out at the 'negotiating' period. Somehow enthralling to watch these guys race with their cars on the line.

The one where the guy lost his car, then bought it back for $32,000 was filmed roughly an hour from where I live. He lost the car, had a cashiers check to buy it back and run 5 more races. He ended up winning the second set of matches and in return got a 70's vetter with a blown motor. The other guy said "hell, I did good...I got 32 grand for a car with a blown motor". It's also the episode in which the moron host got on a crotch rocket and gassed it hard around a corner and the bike went out from under him. lol

Actually the Aussies were playing poorly leading up to the tournament and nobody here thought they would even make the 1/4's, in the end if the rain had stayed away we would have won it. So they were certainly not favourites and had they won they wouldn't have carried on like they had won the battle of the Galaxy like our Pommy mates do when they win anything once every 30 years or so.

Special Tool! (and TMS951)

Maybe its possible to also have the 100-200 km/h time that we was promised last year (or was it 2005?). That is a good time to measure as the slipping and driver faults is minimized.

ooooohhhhhhhhh Patrick, looks like we touched a nerve there!!! Nothing worse for an Aussie than getting beaten by the Pommes. Its probably the same as England getting beaten by France, we hate it!
Looks like SA are preparing for the world cup by getting their drop goal kicking going again! I think NZ may get it this time.
Sorry for the OT guys.
What channels is this Pinks thing broadcast on? See if we can get it on Satalite

Heheheheh....
Not sure where you would look for 'Pinks' in the U.K. I just came across it on Foxtel sports. Try and find it, it was worth watching as a spectacle.
By the way Thommo, drop goals are gay.

Corleone,
I remember that thread and this will likely end up the same way. A lot of talk some bench racing maybe some dyno sheets and then it will fade out.
I do agree, 60 to 130 would be the best way to test the cars.
