If you guys really want to race a 928, see if Jim R will show up. He's somewhere in NY and I think well into the 500rwhp range.

OT but whatever. I took mine to the strip for the first time in over a year today first run I had the boost turned down to 10psi and still managed a 14.8 at 97mph. I turned up the boost to around 14 on the second run and managed a 14.1 at 101mph (2.4 60ft pedaling the tires like a moron and almost missed 2nd). I was about to do a third run but the oil pressure was doing weird things in the staging lane so I shut it down and I'm having it towed tomorrow (GRRRRRR its probably just the gauge or sender but why risk it?). Anyways it was 98 degrees on my first run and 99 and my only modification is a megasquirt ECU ...stock #6 turbo and stock exhaust. I can only imagine what one with twice the hp will do!

60ft will be around 2.0
Trap speed around 125-130MPH
ET around 11.0-11.5

A 500+ rwhp car like special tool's should hit the traps at about 130+, the ET is entirely dependent on setup and driver. There are 9 seconds cars in the 130s and I've seen people struggle to hit high 11s at the same speed. I'll bet that for the first run or two these guys will pull somewhere in the 13s or high 12s. Once they get the 60fts down I wouldn't be surprised to see them get deep into the 11s. I'm really curious what kind of 60fts they can run with this kind of power!

reading my mind.
my wager is a best of 11.50 **IF** can get the car to lauch without going up in smoke.
Will take the experience of launching with big turbo - too much = up in smoke, not enough = big *** bog.
wish I could come cheer you guys on.
