There seems to be alot of speculation about what are times are going to be. A little whila ago I put together a spread sheet of a number of supercars and thier HP per metric ton. In this I also put a stock 1986 951, DFASTEST951 car, MY car and RolexNJs old car. Here is the thread I posted LINK .
I have now added in as many 1/4 and 0-100Kph as I could around Speacial Tools HP per Ton, I also threw top speed while I was at it. It defantly looks like at Special Tools claimed power levels he has a 10 second car that should trap in the 130s. And now that he has launch controle set up 60' should be no problem for him, he made it sound pretty good.
Based on the numbers in the spread sheet I would be very happy to run an 11.9 in the low to mid 120s. with a 2.2sec 60'
here is the spread sheet, the only way to upload it is as a text document it can be cut and pastedinto excel.

Street tire.......= Lame.
Good luck going faster than 12's. MPH isn't even going to reflect power. So much spin. .... Just no point.
At this point, I'm going to give winnings to the guy with the least power. It's actually controlable with street tires.
Please. Please. please use something sticky. Just don't launch like John Force. get out there, THEN floor it. Without sticky tires, All of second. Most of third is going to suck. If for anything. Have sticky tires for those gears and baby the launch. (Where most trannys / axles are broke)
You've done us proud ST.... Now get out there and make it stick!

Err, guys , thanks , but that was my prediction of ST's 1/4 pass if he runs his power numbers..........lart i'm still interested in your offer
We had tried the drag thing on a big hp 951 once , turned on the launch control and lunched the axles , they are weaker than Jap axles , go figure.... when ST said he would use street tires , I know why .......
we had looked into using 930 axles with the necessary mods to make it happen , but the customer changed his mind and the 1/4 thing never happened....

i have made many passes on high Hp japcars and the axles hold up better than , 951 ,944 axles, they are really weak , we change and service them after r 20 hrs track time just To be safe.... The jap axles will break , but you will get multiple 10 sec passes before they snap , the 951 , a launch control start with slicks , yes for a moment .... Use 930 axles if this is your way ...

I did dozens of passes with DOT rated slicks in my 944 and no axle issues, thats at 365WHP.
I just object to the term Jap axles. Not every Jap axle is better than a 951 axle, I have seen lots break on EVO's etc without huge HP as well... it comes down the the stress on the launch.
