What do you guys think? I guess in some ways I am going for the Cup Car/Club Sport look since my car is alpine white over black with sunroof delete. I can't decide if I should keep my current Porsche signature cloth sport seats or get a set of Recaro Pole Positions in cloth..... Opinions please.

Ditch the stockers. I leave my track seats in all the time and love them. I drove from Orlando to Denver in this setup and enjoyed every mile. Besides, helping your favorite mini-skirt into a set of racing seats is a joy that every man should experience.

Is this primarily a street car? If so leave the sport seats - cool seats that have lots of support. If you are going to use it a lot on the track and want to use harnesses with a harness bar/rollbar then you will need to go with Recaros.

Porsche sport seats of that era were some of the best seats ever made. Other than a bit of weight, I can't think of an OEM seat thaqt compares. Keep em!

Get both, the seats are not a HUGE deal to swap back and forth. PLUS I am with Bill on this one, helping a chick in a mini skirt in and out of your car is MUCHO fun.

I have partial leather sport seats in my 951. I love them. Their are only two things I don't like.
1) They are are heavy
2) Issues with the shoulder harness makes them not ideal for track use.


They are however great for support. Thankfully right now I have track car so I have the luxury of keeping the sport seats in the 951.

i like my sports seats. but i would only put in racing seats if i would go all racing look. roll cage, harnesses, steering wheel, guages, etc.
is that sunroof delete a factory option or custom?
