Default KW Vendors Available to US

"KW" is hard to search for.. since its only two letters and the search function only accepts three letter words.

Anyways, what are some KW vendors that people in the US have used, and for which kits/setups? Also, what were the total costs?

Thanks.

SCR Performance, 970-203-1127. I have the KW V3's in my Audi S4 avant. They were the title sponsor of the car for One Lap this year, so I can't comment on costs...

Did you try putting in "KW "?

...note the space at the end, it counts as a character.

Sorry I can't help more, I have no experience.

There is a guy in California who is the best person to talk to. I have posted that before but it was a while ago and I've forgotten his details. I will see if I can get them again but maybe search through my posts. It would be months ago though.
One thing I can say is that they are 'fan-bloody-tastic' as we say down under. Such a great product and far better than my modified Mo30 setup I had before. Not cheap though but I have NO regrets. Well worth exploring if you can track them down.

You are running the race suspension right? So not the "regular" KW Variant 2?
Funny thing is that KW are only listing the KW V3 for the 944.

out of a few emails sent they were the only ones that botherd giving me a decent answer.

as for quality, manthey racings' 2 way setup is KW

Duke, yes you can get the 2 or 3 way race system for our cars. This is basically a custom made setup for you and your car's requirements.

One of the best things about this brand is their use of the high speed bypass valve. This allows you to run your car with stiff springs and shocks yet glide over the kerbs on the track without unsettling the car into bump steer etc + you can drive it on the street without losing your teeth.
Anders I look forward to hearing your impressions of yours once you've had it installed.

Also, Apex Competition (posted a couple times in the "Leda is closing shop" thread) offers the 2w KW's for $3220 USD. I guess that's basically the same as what you've got Patrick?

Yes Ivai, it sounds like it. As you can see it's not cheap but it is custom made and it is built very well (stainless steel components) and works excellently.
Anders, were you dealing with Michael Grassl in Germany?

I have to second 333pg333 enthusiasm for the KW's. They work great, are currently the top choice by most european tuners and race teams and with all the advancement in shock technology one can run almost insane springrates comfortable on the street.

That's true. I'm running 110N springs on the front which is something like 616 lb/in with their camber plates and RacersEdge solid bushes and if I was to do this on old style setups there's no way on God's earth I could drive that on the street.
Oh on the rear I have retained my torsion bar so I have an equivalent coilover rate of 706 lb/in when combined with the 50N springs. To calculate that rear rate is quite a complex little formula to figure out too and that was done by Karl at Racers Edge. Way over my head.

Whoo Hooo !! looks just like mine did. See you got the camber plates too. Nice one. Do you know what your spring rates are and have you got you torsion bar still in or have you deleted it? If you've still got it in do you know your combined spring rate at the rear? If not I can probably figure it out for you using the same info that I had to use.
Bring on the KW 951's!!!

looks like you got some ekstra stuff that I didnt get, like 2 adjusting thingys and such, weirdness, gonna look in lid, perhaps its taped there.

as for springrates, I gave them some info, said I would remove torsion bar, said I wanted it setup for nürburgring. I am gonna ask for springrates and such as its good to have

yes got the camber plates, its kinda silly they dont have "solid" bolts at lower end then. so you dont adjust camber there, then again, you could probably have some wicked angles with adjustment both places!
