I am so sorry for your loss, I'm glad your parents are ok though. That's what is important. I was in a crash like that too, not as bad and walked out with no injuries as well. These cars are tough and that was a beautiful S2 cab.

But I can't help but not laugh at what soloracer said at first, I thought of lart after I read the thread as well. It was just funny how he did it though. Let the organs live on in another 944. Sell it to lart or make sure they go to good homes.

Did the air bags deply? Did they play a roll?

Is it me or do the door gaps look intact? With an impact like that most other cars would've folded up at the cowl/a pillar..especially a cabriolet. These cars are tough! Btw, mines getting fixed..came in at just under $6k..I had to fight for every penny. At least it didn't total.

The doors work perfect - no sag or out of position.
These cars are built pretty well!
BTW - The front sway bar is "U" shaped!

That'll buff right out. I remember when I got tboned in my old 951. Durango at 65mph...amazingly sturdy cars!
