Over the past few months I have been fighting an oil leak somewhere between the front lower balance shaft and the oil pump since I replaced the front seals and did some other repairs. The leak is pretty bad and I have not been able to drive my car.
Couple of questions
1. What's the layout for the bolts in the oil pump as they are different lengths? just want to verify what I have done
2. Would over tightening the bolts result in leakage?
3. Should Loctite 574 be used on the lower balance shaft to enhance mating of the metal?
