Question Can't open DME to replace chip!

This 1991 DME has me stumped. I can't figure out how to separate the boards without damaging it.

Here's the housing with the part number:

It had 2 torx screws on the back which I don't recall seeing on my friends' 968 DMEs:

It has ribbons on the back which appear to be soldered to the boards:

Tommye, how did you crack yours open to put a chip in your 91 951 cab?

Squeeze those 3 whte plastic heads together and pull that end up slightly.
Now pull the board straight out from the black socket.

Presto! Thanks, Luis. It was indeed from the middle. Separating the top would've broken the solder joints.

Chip is in. Now to reinstall the DME.

Thanks, guys!

I put up an installation page a while back, looks like you already got it though.
