I put a probe in the cross-over, in the old Co2 test port, with Laust's kit. I never see more than 950 or so on my Zeitronix display? I run it on the rich side, and use 100 octane, and run Vitesse's chip board on street gas settings, and have a three inch SFR pipe. For those reporting higher numbers - are you reading at the header?

That's weird. I stand by my measurements in post #49 here and others who reported their numbers got about the same results. Btw, remember that under load the header reading is lower than the X-over reading.
If the probe is bad, you’ll get a new one.

What do other Zeitronix owners with my EGT kit installed see?

And the location of the EGT was discussed as the test port on the x-over pipe, since I will be using your EGT kit. He also prefers using the test port vs installing in the individual headers.

I believe his intent/recommendation was to run pretty rich, at the expense of a few hp.
Then it is easy: Adjust your expectations to what others are seeing.

There is a serious cost of running too rich, namely cylinder wash-down (oil is a far better lubricant than gasoline) with increased cylinder wear as a result. I’ll somewhat randomly say that anything less than an AFR of 11.0 is too rich.

Very interesting. I cut off your connector and spliced in my own -- wonder if that screwed up the signal?

I see upto 1615 deg F when in 4th gear. I know I've seen higher temps in 5th gear, but I can't seem to find any 5th gear datalogs.
