I am realy glad to see you make these changes, especialy the the T4 hot side. I don't know why you fought these things for so long. What A/R hot side did you go with? From discussions I have had from tim my guess is that you are using the 85' 928 throttle body is this true? What happened with the BMW one?

Good luck, interested to see the results, and how about some 60-120 times when it is done?

1 bar at 4510 on the datalogger.
4th gear, 76 degrees, level hghway, as yet untuned 10.9 spoolup afr, Mlledge 503/475 advanced 2 degrees, sfr intake/75mm tb, shortblock from Lart.

Torque is not as bad as I thought, might do 550 at the wheels - we'll see.

I know its laggy - but I will get it down to 4300 or so.
Also - this setup will run 25 psi opn pump gas ALL DAY LONG - egt's are NOTHING.
I will shoot for 500 at the wheels on pump gas.

really nothing you can do about the lag with stock low compression ratio and turbo big enough to support your horsepower goals

500 to the wheels on pump gas would be a huge feat indeed. It would be one quick street car.

Just throw in a second turbo that spools quickly if you don't want turbo lag.

Or... do it Lancia style, I believe the Lancia Delta S4 back in the 1980's used a combination of supercharging with turbocharging to reduce turbo lag at low rpms. j/k

oh, going real OT, just found this great youtube vid on a modern 1.4L TSI engine dualcharging system..
