The paint looks amazing, but talk about bad luck! Is the car going to be repairable?

Thanks for the kind words and yes my car will be repaired. I'm pretty certain they will try to total it but there is no way! I have several hundred hours in body and paint alone that isn't going to happen. Bad part is that last night I told my neighbor "watch, first time driving it home it'll probably get hit". Happened less than a quarter mile from my shop. The car was all original paint and no wrecks when I got it a few years ago so the hours invested were to get it straight enough to meet my standards for the color change. Oh well, good thing I own a body shop.

Default I had a simliar experience yesterday...

Yeah car looks great!

I actually had a similar mishap yesterday. I had just gotten my car back from being painted (I had to get the front repainted due to the addition of my AIR vented header panel) and I parked in a parking garage, and pulled in the spot perhaps a bit too far. So, I backed out a smidge, and told my g/f that I didn't want to get hit from the front by someone who may park in the spot across from me.

So I come back to my spot later that day, and sure enough, this behemoth of a lexus is parked in the spot across from me...and there's its paint on my effin' bumper!

He's encroached a bit in my spot, as well as hit me upon parking! I've only had my car back for a bleeding day!

Fortunately, I was able to buff out the lexus paint so all is well with the world now. Yay for being able to tell the future...

I wish my prediction had been a little less acurate.

Thanks, that means a lot. It still needs some buffing and final detailing. I just wanted to drive it this weekend to re-motivate as it has been a long project. I'm glad I hadn't installed the wing yet as with my luck it probably would've been hurt and I have a bunch of hours into fitment/finish on that piece alone. Guess I'll have to wait awhile longer to post finished pics.

that is terrible..sorry to hear...i remember one night i was going out to get a hamburger late night at wendy's and i was about to take the P car, but it was blocked in, so I took my old ford taurus station wagon and at the first red light, go nailed from behind at about 10mph lol shattered my back hatch glass and everything on the wagon, which i only paid 1,900 bucks for....lol i was pissed, but at the same time glad that i decided to take the wagon instead!! haha.....is it just me, or the more everyone drives, they get the feeling that drivers are getting worse and worse lol....i still keep the theory alive that "everyone else can't drive, except for me!" hahaha

Reminds me of a time when a hot girl in a black Jetta rearended me in m 85 944... pushed in my rear bumper...

I pushed it back out, called it a day.
