Default Imposter?

Hi folks,

I just came across this thread.
from a long time ago.

So that’s my name and my ID, but I have no idea what is going on here.

🤔🤔🤔

At first I thought I had been hijacked, but after reading through the discussions I now believe one or several of my employees were using my computer (eBay, and various forums).

…Back then, I had several German machinist that had worked for Euro Motorsport race teams which would account for some of the odd grammar and even more oddball knowledge. I also think there was some improvising going on so no one would know who they were… 🤔🤷‍♂️

Anyway, no wizard of OZ here.

Also, just to round out the post. I do remember a particular 944 turbo one of my techs owned. His name was Hans Mark and he was in his 50’s-60’s in 2007. If I recall it was extremely quick but always blowing out transaxles. He moved back to Germany and had several other cars hobbled together from various race cars. That’s about all I can recall. I’m actually a 928 guy but would love to see one of these mythical 1000hp 944’s. 😅

Phew, barely recall this thread - reading the old posts and posters, it's like going to a high school reunion. Haven't seen some of those guys around in years.

It was certainly entertaining. Makes me wonder where other footprints might be hiding. 🤔🤔🤔
