Steve, no doubt you already own a set of bolt outs like these, but they have saved me in the past in similar situations. Sorry to hear about your troubles.

Oh, that sucks. Yeah, the only bolts that were rounded off were rounded off by me. Otherwise I only had to fight 20yrs of rust, and the car was originally in Wisconsin (though I doubt it was a winter car from the looks of it).

I have the same set and yes they have saved me many times. Unfortunately the way the nut sits there is very little clearance for anything but a thin-wall socket and a swivel. The nut extractor won't even fit over the rounded nut and then I would have even less clearance to get a socket on the extractor I'll just drop the engine with the exhaust on and then cut off the nut with a die-grinder.
