Craigslist 86 turbo 49k orginal miles
Check this one out...

Checked out and test drove the car myself "Alll that glitters is not gold"
Interior is 10-out of 10 only neative is the rear hatch mat needs cleaning
Dash is like new seats like new doors like new very nice interior.
Glove box latch hinges where both broken.
Exterior 7 out of 10 door dings both sides paint is nice but has streaking and discoloration in spots. Chrome Fuchs where to my surprise where growing on me.
Motor 5 out of 10 sounded good however the car has been sitting for a long time years in fact oil level low, oil dirty..turbo water pump wires are jury rigged the pump was not operating in the cool down mode after my test drive.
Temp needle climbed to the red line after the test drive. Checked coolant level and noticed someone patched the tank with some epoxy glue it looked funky wondered what caused the tank to blow a hole in the top??
Did not feel good about all the neglected belts and such. Also what was missing was the boost.
Drove it on the freeway to test out the turbo got to 3k rpm and steped on it expecting the turbo rush and nothing...I would pay to have the motor checked out if i was going to purchase this car. What I thought was interesting the salemen said I could not take the car to any shop that also sold cars in effect I was not allowed to take it to a Porsche dealership to have it checked.
Tranny 3 out of 10 49k miles and it has a bad syncro in fourth gear it grinds big time. Salesmen wanted me to double clutch it so I would minamize any further damange? Makes you wonder about the ad and the over 12k price..
Clutch 10 out of 10 replaced under warrenty at 32k miles.
Felt strange driving a clutch that engaged at the bottom instead of the very top..
I only spent a short time with the car and I was picking it to death much to the dislike of the salemen I am sure there are other items I missed.
Overall nice car price is way to high for the problems it has and the fixes it needs...
