sudden boost loss
recently after i replaced my cat with a straight pipe, the boost has decreased. the gauge was right on 14/15 and now it's just barely past 10. I used carb cleaner to see if there was a leak, and it jumped a little and i tightened the clamp, however it barely changed. it has chips, but i'm not sure exactly what they are, the po estimated it at around 300 rwhp, so i guess stage 2. i'll try to get more info on the chips tomorrow.

What year is the car? As far as I know no chipset comes close to 300hp besides 951max and vitesse. I'd check to make sure there are not exhaust leaks and then move to checking the cycling valve.

the car is an 86. it's a euro something, euro products maybe?? 50-60 hp chipset. there is an exhaust leak, however it's past the turbo. i put a clamp on it, and nothing happens. it used to run 15, now it only runs 10/11. cycling valve?? elaborate. thanks for the help
