You can definitely hear the transmission whine that we all have but I couldn't hear the turbo. Maybe I'm getting deaf in my old age. lol
The BM's would be full lightweight racers too.

Thommo I too went for the same Rods as you and I thought they were a UK based company. What regard are they held in over there?

+1 - the whine is much more pronounced in 4th gear indicating transmission and not turbo.

George,

How do you program the chips once you have modified the engine and have installed it?

Air/Fuel Ratio, Timing, etc.

Hey JTurbo,

Russell Berry at MAX951.com will be providing the software and baseline program. We will tune using his software.

Tim Richards will be tuning using Russell's software with Russell on the phone or there in person. Go to www.max951.com to see his software.

It's Lindsey Racings T04E. This is the turbo thats currently on my car with the blown 2.5 motor in it. We are just adding the appropriate hotside to this turbo. It worked well on my 2.5, but I hated the lag.

333, I would put Oliver rods in the top eschalons as Pauter, Arrow, Carillo...

As for the lag on Georges old motor, it was pretty bad. Unless it was spun up to 3500+ it was not going anywhere. Once it hit boost though.....You had to plan when you were going to accelerate and be in the right gear.

Ah I am guessing you have the stock intake manifold then? From memory the E compressor cover is the biggest with a little grinding that will fit under the stock intake
