Din bil är grymmast!

Can you get it to idle smoothly with those huge injectors? Do you plan to get it through the swedish "bilprovningen"?

Corleone -
Car looks great, fantastic work. I have a few questions if you don't mind -
Are you using a stock sized radiator located behind the intercooler? Any concerns regarding heatsoaking the radiator? What are you doing for oil cooling? It looks like you removed the structural brace that sits between the frame rails at the front of the car. Did you anything to reinforce this or did you feel it was unnecessary?

Very excited about your car. It is nice to see things done right and not "how much can I squeeze out of how little". Cars like yours are why I spend time on rennlist. I always check for new posts of cool cars and always seems to be the same old cars with engines and turbos from the same vendors. I can't wait to hear more after it is tuned. Did you use a GT40R? I like the custom fab stuff like the intercooler and intake alot.

No kit. But the Hellas is aftermarket and avaible parts. The front piece is from a Swedisg guy Magnus who does them, also the carbonfibre head ducts is his work. Yes, it is many things that go away under the hood.

Yes, but the cam is pretty wild so it is a bit nervous at idle. I now have my 1000 cc injectors as I will try the test this coming week. Inga problem att besikta med gamla motorn som var lika ombyggd, peppar, peppar...

No, I have a much bigger alu radiator, special made, almost 3½" thick. I have 1 360 mm fan behind the radiator. Both radiator and IC flow the air a lot greater that stock.

Oil cooling is so far from the 968. Oilpressure regulaor and thermostas is modified. I also have a 71 degrees C thermostat for the cooling system.

I will try without the structural brace, If I feel a difference I will make a special one and weld it. Its a winter job. It still has its alu profile "behind the bumper".

Thanks, I feel the same and much of the fun is to read and develop one own ideas. I got a bit surprised when I saw your car and your headlight setup as I had done the same. Only difference is that I have paint my glass covers so the opening is much smaller.

A friend of mine "Tomas L" here at Rennlist helped me to do a lot of calculations for the turbo set up so we didnt choose the GT40R as it has a heavier shaft and we didnt need the little more air it could produce. The average power at the driving powerband also got down. I have friends here in my town that has a "Rototest" and Garrets figures of rated hp´s is very moderate if you have an engine with high VE which I think I have. Most people choose to big turbos instead of increasing the engines VE´s with better flow. As an example the dynoed the GT30R to 580 hp´s without to much compressor inefficiency. So we think that the modified GT3582R can produce almost 700 hp.
